Open Spaces Secret Places

I am exhibiting at The Horsebridge Arts Centre Gallery 1 from 21 July to 2 Auugust.

I am sharing this large space with my brother Nick Kelly. We grew up in Whitstable and travel has always been a big part of our lives. We have never exhibited in a joint exhibition before but here we will amalgamate our work on four walls with paintings that complement each other on the common theme of Open Spaces, Secret Places.

The majority of the paintings have been worked on over the last 18 months when we were both in our separate houses painting away and meeting for weekly walks. Nick’s paintings evoke memories of travels and walks along the coast and beyond. My paintings are taking a new direction based on travel memories near and far and influences from my garden
