From there to here....

Well as you can see I have had a bit of a change. From my shop and gallery and then online shop of Betty loves Bryan I made the decision to change to Liz Shedden Studio. I had been thinking of this for some time as my work and taste evolved over the years. Isn’t it strange how your ideas change over the course of time without you really realising it? I will of course be ever grateful to the real Betty and Bryan ( my parents) - without them of course I wouldn’t be here and thinking back I have been using my time over the past year to create a body of work based on my travel memories. We had some very memorable trips mostly to France but also Denmark and various locations in this country - but some of the memories are so strong: colours, patterns, food, smells so I am endeavouring to re create the atmosphere in my paintings. This will culminate in an exhibition with my brother Nick Kelly at the Horsebridge in Whitstable this summer, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy the new website and don’t forge to add your details to the mailing list if you would still like to receive the newsletter.
