In recent years more and more plants have started growing on the beach. It used to be shingle all the way but now pleasingly mixed with the seaside stones we have various wild flowers popping up: vipers bugloss, yellowhorn poppies, seakale and my favourite pink valerian. Here is it on our Whitstable beach.
